Eastcroft is a traditional crofters cottage which has been considerably modernised since it was built in 1858 by the present owners great-great-grandfather. It is situated at Lochdon, which is a small peaceful community built around the head of a sea loch and is about 3 miles from the ferry terminal at Craignure. There are beautiful views, an abundance of wildlife to be seen and sea eagles are often sighted over the loch. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

Eastcroft is the last house on the right

Eastcroft's central position makes it perfectly placed for exploring Mull and the surrounding area. Craignure has an excellent tourist information centre and you will find plenty of literature about places to visit on Mull. There are many tours you can take to see the wildlife and fauna of the island. The south of the Isle is rich in history and a trip to Iona is a must. Travelling on Mull's roads is a pleasure, if you are used to city traffic, although the roads are narrow there are plenty of passing places and nobody needs to rush as the scenery is so beautiful on this unspoilt Island.
